The brief was to design an A3 poster for an event by photographing handmade elements, based on 'proximity' as the principle of design. All text was to be retained and shown using hand-lettering.
I used the famous willow tree in the middle of Wanaka lake, as my inspiration for this poster and made a replica using wire and sponge

Trying out different placements for the text and other elements before taking the final photograph, which was then edited in Photoshop to remove strings and shadows
